IPv6 CIDR, or Classless Inter-Domain Routing for IPv6, is a system used to allocate and manage IP addresses in the IPv6 address space. By splitting a large CIDR into smaller CIDR blocks, we can optimize the IP address usage and improve network management by segmenting it into smaller, more manageable units. This is useful when you need to separate between different departments in the same network.
